What started as a group of mates hanging around a local tackle shop in Tasmania talking gear and fishing spots has turned into Snagged: a podcast and community dedicated to everything we love about fishing.

Back when we started, it was basic as hell. No scripts, no grand plans, and definitely no fancy studio setup. It was just phone cameras, cheap mic setups, and 15 minutes of raw, honest fishing chat. But what we lacked in production, we made up for with pure passion and real, down-to-earth advice. People tuned in because it was authentic, and we realised pretty quickly that this project had real legs.

 

Now, we’re upping the ante.

We’re growing Snagged across Australia and New Zealand, with our sights set as far as we can take it! We’ve teamed up with Shimano as our major sponsor and are partnering directly with local tackle shops all over the country. Our goal is simple: bring you the most accurate local knowledge, real-time reports, and practical advice on what gear actually works so you can get the absolute most out of your time on the water.

At its core, Snagged isn't some slick, distant corporate show. It’s by fishers, for fishers. We’re here for the banter, the chilled vibes, and the real stories.
